Geaux Home, Stay Home During COVID-19

Louisiana influencers encourage residents to Geaux Home, stay home and support small businesses during COVID-19.

COVID-19 has impacted every industry, person and market in some way, shape or form. We must all do our part to help protect each other by staying home. And as marketers, we want to do our part to show appreciation to those that are working on the front lines while supporting small businesses that are the backbone of our economy.

While Moore is headquartered in Tallahassee, we have offices across three time zones, each with their own culture and unique experiences. This is especially true for our New Orleans office where hospitality is at the heart of the city. Tourists flock to Louisiana to experience the culture with unique shopping experiences, live music venues and world-renowned restaurants. Amid COVID-19, our Louisiana community has rallied to show their support for hospitality workers at the brunt of the fallout.

Throughout the pandemic, we have seen individuals, nonprofit organizations, business owners and even Mardi Gras krewes rise to the occasion and quickly adjust their strategies to meet the needs of our community. We are inspired by their creativity and their feelings of responsibility to keep their neighbors safe and healthy.

As we shelter in place, Moore wants to bring you encouraging words and trusted messages from friendly faces and leaders throughout New Orleans united under the Geaux Home campaign.

For those of us in New Orleans, we hope you will share this video and continue to support your local restaurants and small businesses through takeout and delivery, or as we like to call it “to-geaux orders.” And for those of you who love our state from afar, we encourage you to explore all the ways that you can bring the spirit of New Orleans into your own home by supporting the musicians and small businesses that create the essence of our communities.

We’ll pull through by pulling together, like we always have. We are all in this together, and we hope these familiar faces remind you of the better days ahead.
