Moore today announced Nic Breeding as managing director to lead its South Florida office, based out of West Palm Beach, Florida. Nic will lead new business development for the communications and marketing firm in South Florida, support key client accounts and manage the agency’s West Palm Beach office. A seasoned public affairs and strategic communications professional, Nic’s 18-year background comprises leadership positions in government, politics and public relations at the national, state and local levels.
Prior to his new role at Moore, Nic served as vice president with Direct Impact, the grassroots communications subsidiary of Burson Cohn & Wolfe.

During his 10 years with Direct Impact, Nic led communications and public relations programs for high-profile clients, applying his previous experience managing White House strategic initiatives and events as well as presidential, congressional, gubernatorial and state constitutional grassroots campaigns. Nic directed numerous proactive media and influencer campaigns surrounding corporate reputation, community engagement and issue advocacy initiatives in hundreds of local markets across the U.S. for Fortune 100 companies, trade associations and coalitions in many sectors, including energy, environmental sustainability, financial services, food and beverage, transportation and health and wellness.

Prior to joining Direct Impact, Nic was an associate director of political affairs at the White House. In addition to his time in the Executive Office of the President, his service in the George W. Bush administration included appointments under Secretaries Mel Martinez and Alphonso Jackson at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development as well as domestic and international travel assignments with the Offices of Presidential and Vice Presidential Advance. Nic also served under Governor Mitt Romney at both the Republican Governors Association and the governor’s political action committee, the Commonwealth PAC. Earlier in his career, Nic worked in campaign politics in Virginia, South Carolina and Florida.
A graduate of Roanoke College and an alumnus of the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership, Nic is a native of Southern Virginia.
