Graphics/Multimedia Designer

Job Opening

This role will serve as a core member within the Creative Team and is focused on strong design executions across a multitude of mediums including print and digital. This position also requires a base-level expertise in the development of animated content, including gifs and short-form videos.

Position Overview:

  • This role will support our in-house graphic design team and content creators to assist in the production work of day-to-day design needs.
  • This role is hands-on, reporting directly to the Associate Managing Director of Brand Development, with direct collaboration with the Art Director, the Associate Director of Multimedia Design, content strategists and copywriters.
  • This role will also collaborate with client service teams to support the production work of integrated brand campaigns, traditional collateral pieces, digital advertising production and animated content.
  • This position is best suited for a creative, visual thinker with a meticulous eye for detail, depth of knowledge and leadership in digital design techniques, platforms and best practices.

Objectives of the Role

  • Generate fresh concepts.
  • Produce visually engaging traditional and print design pieces such as annual reports, toolkits, PowerPoint decks, presentation decks, promotional pieces, print ads, billboards, etc.
  • Produce visually engaging digital design pieces including programmatic display banners, social media ads, static and animated content such as gifs and short-form video.
  • Execute against design direction to develop a large quantity of creative deliverables across a variety of formats.
  • Collaborate with the design team and make contributions to the visual development of integrated, branded marketing campaigns.
  • Amend designs after feedback.
  • Demonstrate understanding of and adherence to brand consistency throughout projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, trends and digital creativity.

Skills Required

  • A minimum of 3 years of design experience
  • A portfolio demonstrating cross channel and platform creative
  • A passion for digital design
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications — Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop — and familiarity with design software and technologies such as Wordpress and Bannersnack
  • Basic Office Word, Excel skills
  • Clear communication skills
  • Attention to detail / accuracy
