In four years with MCG, she has earned her reputation as the “Queen of Branding.” As Ashlee likes to say, she lives in the “Land of the Brand.” And while she excels in a variety of areas within integrated communications, her passion is bringing brands to life.
“You’re taking the best attributes of a brand and building something new or evolving it forward,” she says. “It’s like a phoenix rising from the ashes or having a baby.”
With a degree in creative writing, Ashlee brings a combination of strategy and imagination to her work. She has a gift for ideation and elevating brands through messaging and design, whether she’s developing a new brand or adding clarity and cohesion to an existing brand.
She also co-leads some of MCG’s largest accounts with a focus on award-winning collateral development including video, annual reports, advertising and industry newsletters. Clients that have benefited from her talents include CareerSource Florida, the City of Tallahassee, Florida State University, the Tallahassee Community College Foundation and Table 23, a restaurant in Tallahassee’s Midtown.
Ashlee played a key role in branding the “TCC. We Rise.” fundraising campaign, which exceeded its $10-million goal. Her contributions to the branding of Table 23 contributed to two GOLD ADDY awards for creative branding and illustration, and a video she coordinated for the FSU Real Estate Center’s “Behind the Bricks” campaign won a national Telly Award.
Ashlee packs a lot of passion and energy into her work and into her life as a wife and mom. She and her husband have two young children, ages 5 and 2. She’s also a longtime exercise enthusiast and runner. She’s currently training for her second half marathon.
