Liz is an inexhaustible force on behalf of clients who depend on her persistence, focus and strategy, honed over more than a decade at MCG.
She joined the agency as a part-time PR assistant when she was a junior in college. Now as senior director, she is the lead for several clients and has expertise in advocacy, branding, media relations and public affairs at the state and federal levels. Whether she’s sparking grassroots action or developing digital strategies, her passion for people and causes motivates her to exceed clients’ expectations.
“I really enjoy getting to learn as much as I possibly can about different issues and industries and how we can help our clients achieve their goals,” she said. “It’s amazing to work on issues that are going to make a difference.”
Liz has worked with clients including the Florida Dental Association, the Florida Cable Telecommunications Association, the Epilepsy Foundation and numerous business and healthcare coalitions. She has managed public affairs campaigns in multiple states on behalf of issues including safeguarding patients’ rights, securing access to care and protecting small businesses.
A recent example of Liz’s success on behalf of clients was the Florida Dental Association’s rebranding, which brought new energy to the organization and contributed to an increase in membership.
Through her relationships with clients, Liz has had the opportunity to speak at national advocacy summits for the Epilepsy Foundation of America and the National Premature Infant Health Coalition. She also serves on the board of the Epilepsy Association of the Big Bend.
A native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Liz has a bachelor’s degree in communications from Florida State University and a master’s degree in Strategic Public Relations from George Washington University’s School of Political Management.
Away from the office, she enjoys trying new restaurants and exploring local parks with her fiance and two dogs. She also enjoys unwinding with barre classes at lunchtime or after work.
