Marissa is a digital marketing expert with a wide range of experience in content strategy, influencer engagement and advertising, but it is her creative spirit and ability to spark big ideas that power her work.
“Spend five minutes with her in a brainstorm, and you will walk away with 30 different ideas,” says one of her colleagues. “Ideas just pour of out her.”
Whether she’s directing original video or writing social media posts, Marissa brings brand stories to life through compelling content. She has a knack for understanding what will resonate with target audiences and for engaging bloggers and other influencers in sharing messages.
Since joining MCG in 2016, Marissa has helped the agency develop social media best practices and has leveraged her expertise on behalf of clients including the Florida Dental Association, CareerSource Florida and Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport.
Before coming to MCG, she worked in ecommerce, government and nonprofits and managed digital strategies for brands such as eBags, ShopAtHome.com, Victoria’s Secret, Nordstrom and Samsonite.
A native of rural New Jersey, Marissa has a degree in journalism, public relations, from West Virginia University. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking with her dog, Stanley, and taking dance classes in hip-hop and jazz.
