Stephania, who goes by Steph, joined Moore in September 2017, bringing expertise in health care, advocacy, media relations and marketing to our West Palm Beach office.
She previously worked for Tenet Healthcare and Florida Medical Center, a campus of North Shore in Fort Lauderdale, where she developed extensive industry knowledge, as well as relationships with the media, particularly in the Ft. Lauderdale and Miami market.
At Moore, she will work with a variety of clients including Ford Motor Co., the Max Planck Florida Institute of Neuroscience and Merrill Lynch. Steph, who is bilingual, will also work with Moore Latino to help clients connect with the fastest growing economic force – the Hispanic consumer.
“I’m a people person,” she said. “I really enjoy talking to people. That could be setting up an interview with the media, or through business development, getting to know my clients and their goals.”
While at Tenet Healthcare, Steph worked in public relations for 10 hospitals in South Florida. In 2014, she was promoted to marketing specialist with a focus on Florida Medical Center. Her role there included event coordination, community outreach, social media, public relations and marketing.
Steph’s passion for health care started when she was an intern at Tenet while completing a degree in English literature at Florida Atlantic University. She later completed a master’s degree in health care administration, also from FAU.
Steph, a Broward County resident, and her husband were married in May 2017. They recently adopted an Italian Greyhound named Oliver. They enjoy exploring nearby parks, barbecuing with friends, camping and going to the movies.
