She exceeds clients’ expectations when placing stories in print, broadcast and digital media. Her strategies win prominent coverage including newspaper cover pages and magazine spreads. Meredith credits her success to maintaining strong relationships and tailoring each pitch to the audience.
“Journalists and influencers are inundated with story ideas,” she said. “One of the best ways to capture their attention is to do your homework by identifying something of interest to their readers and followers.”
That approach has benefited clients including the Jewish Women’s Foundation of the Greater Palm Beaches, for which Meredith secured more than 80 media hits in three months. For a client in the government sector, she helped secure 171 media clips in just one month, garnering five million impressions and $200,000 of value. And she thoroughly impressed a financial industry client by securing more than 50 media hits, when the goal was 15.
In addition to her magic in media relations, Meredith brings nearly a decade of experience in marketing, public relations and sales to MCG’s West Palm Beach office. She is known for her enthusiasm, determination and creativity and has worked with clients in the education, business, nonprofit, lifestyles, cultural, society and health care sectors.
Before joining MCG, Meredith worked with a boutique PR firm in Delray Beach, Florida. Prior to that, she worked in pharmaceutical sales.
A passionate communicator, Meredith serves as a board member for the Gold Coast PR Council, South Florida’s largest independent group of PR, marketing and communications professionals from Palm Beach, Broward, Martin and Dade counties.
A Florida native, Meredith has a degree in criminal justice from the University of Central Florida. She and her husband have a young son. In their spare time, they enjoy exploring South Florida’s culinary scene and taking family outings to the museum and other kid-friendly locales.
